He also won several sections of the Australian National Eisteddfod and performed in the Australian Opera’s productions of Aida and La Boheme.

After initially embarking on a military career, the call of music proved overwhelming and Lincoln left the Army at the start of 1994 to pursue a professional singing career. He studied at Queensland Conservatorium of Music and Canberra School of Music (ANU) where he won the Musical Theatre section of the National Eisteddfod and performed in Canberra Philharmonic’s award-winning production of Les Miserables and starred in Red Hot and Broadway. He gained his Advanced Diploma of Music in 1997 before moving to London to further his career. He went on to build a solid international career in the UK, Europe, the USA and Australia working in cabaret, musical theatre and opera and also starring as a production singer for Celebrity Cruises onboard the Constellation, proving himself to be a highly versatile performer.
Lincoln started teaching singing in 2007 when he took up the position of voice teacher at Spotlights Theatre School in the UK, while also performing as a resident artist with The Three Waiters. After returning to Australia, he taught at The Music Practice in Sydney and started teaching privately from home while also singing with Opera Australia. He also taught music to the Year 10 students at Macquarie Grammar School in 2010 and 2011. In 2021 Lincoln moved to the Sunshine Coast and established his new singing teaching practice and starred in Encore at Noosa Arts Theatre. Then he was the Musical Director and Vocal Coach for their 2022 production of The Boy From Oz. In 2023 he was Musical Director/Conductor of Sunshine Coast Choral Society before partnering with Kim Kirkman to produce semi- professional musical theatre. The first Kirkman & Scott production was The Pirates of Penzance, which was staged in 2024 to great acclaim. Lincoln also recently took the reins of Cotton Tree Community Choir. Whether you are a beginner or a professional singer, Lincoln can help you build a solid vocal technique, musical knowledge, ability and the confidence to fully express yourself as a performer.

Testimonials
“Lincoln's background as a professional singer makes him an outstanding teacher. He really knows how to get the best out of people. I did lessons with him for many years. He is warm, very patient and his lessons are always enjoyable.”
Helen Townsend
“I’ve had quite a few vocal coaches throughout my career both here in the US and in Australia, but the warm-ups that I use every day, that I depend upon for my vocal health, the same exercises I’ve passed on to my clients, are the ones Lincoln taught me some 14 years ago. He understands his clients’ voices and tailors a vocal coaching program to suit. He’s also a firm, but fair taskmaster, who will keep you accountable and that’s important. I really can’t recommend Lincoln Scott more highly.”
Bianca Moon (now singing professionally in Nashville)
“Lincoln is a great singing teacher – his technical expertise, mellifluous voice and steady encouragement inspires and gives you confidence you can grow and achieve your singing goals. I’d recommend him to beginners and more experienced singers alike”
